Overall, a very good season for Real Madrid, and even if they get knocked out of the Champions League, they will win a trophy this season, the LaLiga one.

Espanyol is now in 13^th place with 39 points, and overall, their season has been a success. Espanyol might have not scored a lot of goals, 37 in 33 games so far, but their defense was decent with 45 conceded goals, and as a newcomer, that is not bad at all. Espanyol has been hot and cold this season, which was expected, but they have enough to stay in LaLiga, which was their only goal this season. Regano is the only injured player for Espanyol at the moment. De Tomas is Espanyol’s leading goalscorer with 15 goals, while Darder has added 8 assists. There isn’t much to say about Espanyol, except if they want to do something more in LaLiga next season, they will need to have more offense, but if the bottom half of the table is enough for them, they are good as is.

The trends are heavily on Real’s side, and they have lost only 1 home game this season. Espanyol has only 1 win on the road, and they are not doing well at the moment. I’m going with Real Madrid in this one.
