The Atlanta Hawks invade the Scotiabank Arena to take on the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night in NBA action.

The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their last five games overall and they will be hoping to stay hot after taking down the Pacers in a thrilling 113-111 road win last night. Trae Young led the team with 26 points and 11 assists, DeAndre Hunter added 25 points while Onyeka Okongwu and Dejounte Murray each scored 18 points. As a team, the Hawks shot just 43 percent from the field and 16 of 33 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the contest and trailed by nine points in the fourth quarter before they rallied and stole the game on a game-winning tip shot from John Collins at the buzzer.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have split their last 10 games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after beating the Hornets in a 124-114 win on Thursday. Pascal Siakam led the team with 35 points on 11 of 13 shooting, Scottie Barnes added 21 points with seven rebounds and nine assists while Gary Trent Jr. chipped in with 19 points. As a team, the Raptors shot 51 percent from the field and 10 of 28 from the 3-point line as they dominated from the start and were always in control after exploding for 69 points in the first half where they led by as many as 18 points.

Looking at the betting trends, the Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 17-36 ATS in their last 53 road games against a team with a winning home record. The Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record and 5-1 ATS in their last six Saturday games.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the Hawks are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Toronto and the Hawks are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Hawks will once again be shorthanded as Clint Capela is still out, while the Raptors are still missing Otto Porter Jr who has now undergone season-ending surgery on his left foot. The Hawks have been playing well below their standards lately, but they would’ve taken so much confidence from their comeback win over the Pacers last night. The Raptors are starting to heat up with three wins on the trot and they will be the fresher of the two teams as they haven’t played since their win over the Hornets on Thursday. The Hawks are only 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Raptors continue their rise with another win here.
