Cade Cunningham led the team with 18 points and seven assists, Jaden Ivey added 18 points while Ausar Thompson chipped in with 17 points, seven rebounds and three blocks off the bench. As a team, the Pistons shot 45 percent from the field and eight of 31 from the 3-point line as they went cold and scored just 18 points in the second quarter to fall behind going into halftime, but they stayed in the contest until the fourth quarter where they allowed 33 points. The Pistons will play against the Trail Blazers and Clippers after this game.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in pretty good shape recently as they’ve won six of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after having their two-game win streak halted by the Cavaliers in a 136-110 road defeat on Monday. Harrison Barnes led the team with 22 points, De’Aaron Fox added 19 points while Malik Monk chipped in with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Kings shot 46 percent from the field and 17 of 44 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace with the Cavaliers from the start as they allowe 74 points in the first half, before they went ice-cold and scored just 18 points in the fourth quarter to lose big in the end.

The line has been set with the Kings opening as heavy favorites at home which is not surprising at all given that the Kings have been playing well, while the Pistons are still struggling to win games. With the chance that the Pistons could be missing Cunningham, I’ll happily side with the Kings to take advantage and get the big win and cover at home.
