The Sacramento Kings invade the Footprint Center to take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. Here’s a Kings vs Suns Prediction.
Sacramento Kings
The Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last seven games overall, but they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid here after falling painfully short to the Bucks in a 143-142 overtime road loss on Sunday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 32 points and five assists on 12 of 26 shooting, Malik Monk added 28 points, seven rebounds and seven assists off the bench, Kevin Huerter added 26 points while Domantas Sabonis tallied a triple-double of 21 points with 13 rebounds and 15 assists. As a team, the Kings shot 52 percent from the field and 17 of 41 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from a 12-point fourth quarter deficit to force overtime where lost in the final second as the Bucks’ Damian Lillard drained the 32-foot game winner.
Sacramento Kings Team Facts
- The Kings have won each of their last four games as underdogs following an overtime loss.
- The Kings have covered the spread in each of their last seven games as road underdogs following a loss.
- Each of the Kings’ last six road games after coming off overtime have gone UNDER the total points line.
Phoenix Suns
Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been on a nice run as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after blowing past the lowly Trail Blazers in a 127-116 road defeat on Sunday. Devin Booker led the team with 34 points and seven assists on 14 of 22 shooting, Bradley Beal added 23 points, Kevin Durant scored 21 points while Grayson Allen chipped in with 20 points. As a team, the Suns shot a sizzling 60 percent from the field and 13 of 28 from the 3-point line as they took control of the contest with a 40-point explosion in the second quarter and they kept pushing until they led by 17 points.
Phoenix Suns Team Facts
- The Suns have won 12 of their last 13 games at Footprint Center following a road win.
- The Suns have failed to cover the spread in each of their last seven night games against Pacific Division opponents that held a winning record.
- Seven of the Suns’ last eight games as favorites following a road win have gone OVER the total points line.
Kings vs Suns Prediction
The Kings are keeping an eye on Keegan Murray who is questionable for this one, while the Suns are still missing Damion Lee. The Kings haven’t been at their best recently, but they were inches away from taking down the Bucks in overtime on Sunday, while the Suns are starting to heat up now that they have all their key players healthy for the first time this season. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Kings pulled off the minor upset on the road, but the Suns are a team on the rise at the moment and I think they can maintain their momentum with another win and cover at this reasonable line.
