The Houston Rockets travel to the PHX Arena to do battle with the Phoenix Suns on Monday night.
The Houston Rockets have been in a major slump as they’ve lost 29 of their last 32 games and they will be hoping to avoid a third straight defeat after getting routed by the Warriors in a 125-109 road loss on Saturday. John Wall led the team with 30 points and seven assists on 11 of 19 shooting, DJ Augustin added 19 points with six assists while Kelly Olynyk and Christian Wood each scored 18 points. As a team, the Rockets shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 37 from the 3-point line as they fell behind big after managing just 18 points in the second quarter which just left them too much ground to make up in the second half. Devin Booker led the team with 27 points and six assists, Mikal Bridges added 15 points, DeAndre Ayton and Cameron Payne each scored 14 points while Chris Paul chipped in with 13 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Suns shot 51 percent from the field and 17 of 43 from the 3-point line as they took a narrow lead into halftime, before exploding for 44 points in the third quarter to pull away and win comfortably in the end.

The Rockets might be able to hang around in the first half, but in the end I think the Suns have no problem getting the win and cover at home in this one.
