The Utah Jazz invade the American Airlines Arena to battle the Miami Heat on Friday night.

The Utah Jazz have been on an absolute tear lately as they’ve won 22 of their past 24 games and they will be aiming for a third straight win after making light work of the shorthanded Lakers in a 114-89 home win on Wednesday. Rudy Gobert and Jordan Clarkson each scored 18 points, Bojan Bogdanovic added 15 points, Mike Conley scored 14 points with eight assists while Mitchell Donovan chipped in with 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Jazz shot 47 percent from the field and a sizzling 22 of 48 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with 39 points in the second quarter, before holding the Lakers to just 17 points in the third quarter to lead by as many as 29 points in a dominant display.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been building nicely as they’ve won eight of their past 11 games and they will be looking to build on their current four-game win streak after taking down the Raptors in a 116-108 home win on Wednesday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 27 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists, Bam Adebayo added 19 points with 12 rebounds and four assists while Duncan Robinson chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Heat shot 46 percent from the field and 17 of 38 from the 3-point line as they held the Raptors to just 21 points in the second quarter to take the lead into halftime, before pulling away by Butler who scored 14 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter. Goran Dragic returned from an ankle sprain to finish with 15 points on four of 13 shooting.

Looking at the betting trends, the Jazz are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 road games, 27-11-1 ATS in their last 39 games against a team with a losing record and 23-5 ATS in their last 28 games overall. The Heat are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games against a team with a winning record, 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.

Head to head, the under is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall, the Jazz are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Miami and the Jazz are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall.

The Jazz have been on fire this season and they would’ve taken so much confidence from their dominant win over the Lakers on Wednesday. The Heat have been building nicely as well and they just took down the in-form Raptors with Butler leading the way on Wednesday. The Heat look like a much better team with Dragic returning to the lineup and they will only get better once he resumes his role, but at this point of the season, there is very little reason to back against the Jazz in their current form.
