Paolo Banchero led the team with 18 points and six assists, Franz Wagner added 17 points while Moritz Wagner chipped in with 15 points off the bench. AS a team, the Magic shot 45 percent from the field and 11 of 29 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and were just never in the contest after falling behind by 25 points at halftime and by as many as 36 points in the third quarter. Jalen Suggs had a quiet game of just six points while Cole Anthony finished with just five points off the bench.

Vince Williams led the team with 25 points on eight of 10 shooting, GG Jackson added 17 points off the bench while Jaren Jackson Jr and Scottie Pippen Jr scored 15 points each. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 45 percent from the field and 17 of 36 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their defense as they held the Heat to just 20 points in the second quarter to build a 14-point lead, which was more than enough to hold off a cold-shooting Heat squad. Jaren Jackson Jr had a rough shooting game as he shot just five of 21 from the field and one of seven from the 3-point line, while Ziaire Williams finished scoreless on zero of eight shooting off the bench. The Grizzlies will face the Pacers after this game.

The Magic haven’t been able to get anything going recently and they looked poor in their big loss to the Cavaliers on Monday, while the Grizzlies have continued to battle with two wins in a row after beating the Heat in a big upset win on Wednesday. The Magic should be good enough to take advantage of this severely shorthanded Grizzlies outfit, but they haven’t looked like themselves lately so I’m not comfortable taking them as road favorites. The Grizzlies have come to life in their past two games and I think they can keep it going with another upset win at home in this spot.
