The Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies duke it out at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Friday afternoon.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in decent shape as they’ve won two of their three games since the season resumption and they will be looking to stay hot after blowing past the Lakers in a 105-86 loss on Wednesday. Chris Paul led the team with 21 points and six assists, Danilo Gallinari added 19 points while Steven Adams chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Thunder shot 43 percent from the field and just five of 24 from the 3-point line, but they were locked in defensively and reaped the rewards as they held the Lakers to just 35 percent shooting while limiting Anthony Davis to just nine points.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have quickly seen their playoff dreams squashed as they’re coming into this game looking to avoid a fifth straight defeat since the season restart after falling to the Jazz in a 124-115 loss on Wednesday. Dillon Brooks led the team with 23 points, Jonas Valanciunas added 21 points with 14 rebounds while Ja Morant and Grayson Allen each scored 20 points. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 47 percent from the field and 11 of 29 from the 3-point line as they rallied back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter, only to see the Jazz make a final run to steal the game late.

Looking at the betting trends, the Thunder are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 road games against a team with a winning home record, 21-9 ATS in their last 30 games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. The Grizzlies are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record, 0-4 ATS in their last four games as an underdog and 0-5 ATS in their last five games overall.

Head to head, the over is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings overall and the Thunder are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings overall.

The Grizzlies haven’t been able to get over the hump in any of the four games since the season restart and they will find it tough to hang with teams without the services of Jaren Jackson Jr. The Thunder look like they’re on a mission and they will be full of confidence after blowing past the Lakers in their last outing. The Grizzlies need this win to stay in the hunt for the playoffs, but I don’t think they get it done as the Thunder should be too good once again.
