Memphis Grizzlies vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction 3-13-24 Picks

The Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies meet Wednesday in NBA action at the FedExForum. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Charlotte Hornets vs Memphis Grizzlies prediction.

Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets have been in terrible form as they’ve lost seven of their last eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back in this spot after getting thrashed by the Pistons in a 114-97 road defeat on Monday. Miles Bridges led the team with 24 points, seven rebounds and three assists, Grant Williams added 22 points while Brandon Miller chipped in with 19 points and seven assists. As a team, the Hornets shot just 38 percent from the field and 13 of 40 from the 3-point line as they did their best to hang within striking distance in the first half, only to get blow out in the third quarter where they leaked 33 points to fall behind by as many as 19 points at one stage.

Memphis Grizzlies

Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in poor form as they’ve lost seven of their last 10 games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after snapping a two-game skid with a 109-97 win over the Wizards last night. Trey Jemison led the team with 24 points on 11 of 13 shooting, GG Jackson added 19 points off the bench while Jake LaRavia chipped in with 16 points off the bench. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 44 percent from the field and eight of 33 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Wizards from the start and always looked in control after dominating the first half by 67-42 despite going cold in the second half. The Grizzlies will face the Thunder and Kings after this game.

Charlotte Hornets vs Memphis Grizzlies prediction

The Grizzlies are still missing almost their entire team while, the Hornets are coming in with the same squad once again. The Hornets have gone ice-cold again as they’ve won just one of their last eight games overall while the Grizzlies have come to life with three wins in their past five games overall and they looked like a different team in their easy win over the Wizards last night. You really couldn’t back either team with any confidence these days, but you have to give the slight edge to the Grizzlies despite their injuries and the fact that they’re playing on zero days rest. This is a game I’d rather stay away from, but if I had to choose, I’d lean towards the Grizzlies in a close one.
