The Los Angeles Lakers play host to the San Antonio Spurs at the Crypto.com Arena on Friday night. Here’s a Lakers vs Spurs Prediction.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs have been in terrible form as they’ve lost nine of their last 10 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after getting beaten by the Kings in a 127-122 loss last night. Devin Vassell led the team with 32 points and seven assists on 13 of 18 shooting, Victor Wembenyama tallied 19 points with 13 rebounds, five steals and five blocks while Keldon Johnson chipped in with 18 points off the bench. As a team, the Spurs shot 51 percent from the field and 11 of 25 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to match the Kings in the second half, but they were always fighting an uphill battle after getting outscored by 35-25 in the second quarter. The Spurs will take on the Jazz and Timberwolves after this one.
Los Angeles Lakers
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers were on a great run as they had won six games out of seven before last night’s 128-110 road loss to the Warriors. Anthony Davis led the team with 27 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks, D’Angelo Russell added 18 points with nine assists while Austin Reaves chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Lakers shot 48 percent from the field and 10 of 35 from the 3-point line, but they weren’t at their usual standards on the defensive end and were always playing from behind after allowing 67 points in the first half. No bench player scored more than nine points and Rui Hachimura scored just eight points in place of the injured LeBron James. The lakers

Lakers vs Spurs Prediction
The Spurs are still missing Marcus Morris and Charles Bassey, while the Lakers could again be missing LeBron James and Cam Reddish. The Spurs have been in a terrible slump and I don’t expect that to change anytime soon now that the season is coming towards the business end, so I’m going with the Lakers who were playing some of their best basketball of the season before last night’s tough loss to the Warriors. The Lakers are still shorthanded but I think they bounce back with a much-needed win and cover at home.
