The Oklahoma City Thunder have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall and they will be eager to build on their current four-game win streak after making light work of the Wizards in a 147-106 win over the Wizards on Friday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 30 points, seven rebounds and nine assists, Chet Holmgren added 25 points with 10 rebounds while Josh Giddey chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Thunder shot 59 percent from the field and an efficient 20 of 40 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates and always looked in control after exploding for 80 points in the first half.

Meanwhile, the Houston Rockets have been in a real funk as they’ve lost six of their last eight games overall, but they will be aiming to build some momentum after outlasting the Suns in a 114-110 home win on Friday. The Thunder are coming in with a full squad once again which is such a luxury in the league these days, while the Rockets are still missing Tari Eason and Steven Adams. This is a classic case of two teams headed in opposite directions with the Thunder coming into this one fresh off a 41-point victory, while the Rockets have lost six of their last eight games overall. It wouldn’t be completely shocking if the Rockets pulled off the upset here as they’ve already beaten the Thunder earlier in the season, but the line is short enough for me to back the Thunder to get their revenge.
