Golden State Warriors vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction 2-23-24 Picks

The Charlotte Hornets travel to the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. Here’s a Hornets vs Warriors Prediction.

Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are starting to heat up now as they are aiming for a season-high fifth straight win after beating the Jazz in a 115-107 road win last night. Miles Bridges led the team with 26 points, 14 rebounds and four assists, Grant Williams added 24 points off the bench while Brandon Miller chipped in with 16 points and five assists. As a team, the Hornets shot 43 percent from the field and a sizzling 20 of 42 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 34 points in the first quarter, before they dominated the fourth quarter by 30-17 to come away with the unlikely victory and keep their win streak alive. The Hornets will face the Trail Blazers after this game.

Golden State Warriors

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in red-hot form as they’ve won seven of their last eight games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight win after making light work of the Lakers in a 128-110 home win last night. Stephen Curry led the team with 32 points and eight assists, Andrew Wiggins added 20 points while Trayce Jackson-Davis chipped in with 17 points off the bench. As a team, the Warriors shot 46 percent from the field and 16 of 41 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 67 points in the first half and they just kept building on the lead as the Lakers just had no answers for them.

Hornets vs Warriors Prediction

The Hornets have looked like a different team since the trade and they are coming into this one with plenty of confidence after last night’s surprising win over the Jazz. However, the Warriors are still the hotter team in this matchup and I don’t see them slowing down if they play half as good as they did in last night’s win over the Lakers. This game should be close in the first half, but in the end, I have the Warriors pulling away for the big win and cover at home.
