Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 31 points and five assists, Chet Holmgren added 20 points with 13 rebounds and two blocks while Jalen Williams chipped in with 15 points and seven assists. As a team, the Thunder shot 47 percent from the field and 10 of 33 from the 3-point line, but this win was more about their effort on defense as they held the Pelicans to just 17 points in the second quarter to take the early lead, before they dominated the fourth quarter by 30-19 to run away with it in the end. The Thunder will meet the Timberwolves, Nuggets, Hornets, and Raptors after this one.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 30 points on 10 of 19 shooting, Cade Cunningham added 20 points with 12 assists while Jalen Duren chipped in with 10 points and 18 rebounds. As a team, the Pistons shot 43 percent from the field and nine of 32 from the 3-point line as they traded with the Wizards in a tightly contested first half, but they couldn’t maintain that pace and managed just 41 points in the second half to allow the Wizards to win by double digits. The Pistons just got nothing from their reserves and Alec Burks shot just two of nine from the field for his eight points. The Pistons will meet the Cavs, Clippers, and Magic after this one.
