The San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Mavericks duke it out at the American Airlines Center on Wednesday night. Here’s a Spurs vs Mavs Prediction.
San Antonio Spurs
The San Antonio Spurs have been doing it tough as they were riding a seven-game losing streak before they finally snapped out of it with a 122-99 road win over the Raptors on Monday. Victor Wembenyama led the team with a monster triple-double of 27 points with 14 rebounds and 10 blocks, Devin Vassell added 25 points with six assists while Jeremy Sochan chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 52 percent from the field and 11 of 30 from the 3-point line as they made this one look easy right from the start, pouring in 67 points in the first half, before they exploded for 36 points in the third quarter to take a 31-point lead and put the game to bed early.
Dallas Mavericks
Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks are starting to heat up as they are now gunning for a sixth straight win after beating the Wizards in a 112-104 home win on Monday. Luka Doncic led the team with a triple-double of 26 points with 11 rebounds and 15 assists, Kyrie Irving added 26 points with seven rebounds and four assists while Daniel Gafford chipped in with 16 points, 17 rebounds and five blocks. As a team, the Mavericks shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to make their 3-point shots early and looked to be in trouble when they trailed by 11 points after allowing 36 points in the second quarter, but they kept their composure and made their move in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Wizards by 34-16 to keep their win streak alive.

Spurs vs Mavs Prediction
The Spurs are still missing Marcus Morris Sr, while the Mavericks have ruled out Dante Exum again and they have Maxi Kleber and Dereck Lively both listed as questionable. The Spurs looked great in their big win over the Raptors on Monday, but those kinds of performances have been few and far between this season. The Mavericks are coming into this one with plenty of momentum, Doncic and Irving have been playing terrific basketball and they shouldn’t have too much trouble taking down these Spurs. The line is hefty and the Mavericks weren’t convincing in their last outing, but I think they get the job done at home.
