Cleveland Cavaliers vs Chicago Bulls prediction 1-15-24 Picks

The Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers duke it out at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Monday night. Here’s a Bulls vs Cavs Prediction.

Chicago Bulls

The Chicago Bulls have been in decent shape as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Spurs in a 122-116 road win on Saturday. Nikola Vucevic led the team with 24 points, 16 rebounds and five assists, DeMar DeRozan added 20 points while Ayo Dosunmu chipped in with 21 points on eight of nine shooting off the bench. As a team, the Bulls shot 51 percent from the field and 15 of 34 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in a bit of trouble when they squandered an early 18-point lead, but they kept their composure and restricted the Spurs to just five points in the final 6:19 to escape with the narrow win.

Cleveland Cavaliers

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have been in fine form as they’ve won nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be gunning for a fifth straight victory after beating the Nets in a 111-102 win on Thursday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 45 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, Caris LeVert added 21 points off the bench while Jarrett Allen chipped in with 12 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 39 percent from the field and 13 of 44 from the 3-point line which aren’t great numbers, but you can credit this win to their effort on the defensive end as they were always in full control after holding the Nets to just 34 points in the first half.

Bulls vs Cavs Prediction

The Bulls are still without Torrey Craig and they have Patrick Williams listed as questionable, while the Cavaliers have ruled out Ty Jerome and Darius Garland with Max Strus listed as questionable. The Bulls come into this one with plenty of momentum despite an unconvcing win over the Spurs on Saturday, while the Cavaliers are looking to build on their four-game win streak. You can make an argument for either side here, but the Cavaliers have been the more consistent team this season, they should be rested as they haven’t played since Thursday and they are a solid 13-8 at home. GIve me the Cavaliers to get the job done in a close one.
