The current fourth ranked golfer in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) certainly posted some outstanding results on the PGA Tour in 2023. Let me be more specific. Since the beginning of January, Viktor Hovland played 21 events on the PGA Tour. In those 21 tournaments just mentioned, Viktor Hovland accumulated 15 top 25 finishes, including a win at the 2023 BMW Championship in August.

Viktor Hovland also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event history. Since 2019, Viktor Hovland has played the United States Open four times. In those four tournaments just noted, Hovland accumulated three top 19 finishes, including a 13th place result at the 2019 U.S. Open.

In summary, I am backing Viktor Hovland to win the 2024 U.S. Open at odds of +1400.
