The Ole Miss Rebels and Tulsa Golden Hurricane clash Saturday in week 4 college football action from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane come into this one looking to build on a 54-17 win over Jacksonville State last time out. Davis Brin has thrown for 1,206 yards, 11 touchdowns and a pick on 63.9% passing while Steven Anderson has a team-high 130 rushing yards and 4 scores so far this season. Keylon Stokes leads the Golden Hurricane with 28 grabs for 457 yards and 3 TDs while JuanCarlos Santana has 14 catches for 326 yards and 4 TDs. Malachai Jones and Isaiah Epps each have 150+ receiving yards as well so far this season. On defense, Bryson Powers has a team-high 27 total tackles while Justin Wright has 25 total tackles with a team-high 16 solo tackles. Tyon Davis also has an INT for Tulsa this season.

The Ole Miss Rebels will try to add to their 42-0 win over Georgia Tech last time out to improve to 3-0 on the year. Jaxson Dart has thrown for 543 yards, 3 touchdowns and a pair of interceptions on 65.5% passing while Zach Evans and Quinshon Judkins have combined for 606 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns. Ulysses Bentley IV also has 4 rushing scores for the Rebels this season. Jonathan Mingo has a team-high 203 receiving yards while Malik Heath has 145 receiving yards and a pair of scores and Michael Trigg has a team-high 10 catches and 3 receiving TDs this season. On defense, Troy Brown and Tysheem Johnson each have 19 total tackles while Khari Coleman has a team-high 2.5 sacks this season.

Tulsa is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a straight up win and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following an ATS win while the over is 5-0-1 in their last 6 games in September. Ole Miss is 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games and 11-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 5-0-1 in their last 6 games in September.

I get the reasoning for backing either side in this one, but I’m firmly on the over here. Tulsa looked good against Jacksonville State and this Golden Hurricane team can score, but they’re also giving up a ton of points on the defensive end and that’s not what you want against Ole Miss who can put up points in bunches themselves. Give me the over here as I’m expecting a game that gets well into the 70s here.
