In the Saturday matchup versus Miami FL, the Blue Devils were all tied up 38-38 at halftime. Duke hit a 30-28 run in the second half and pulled off the win 68-66. Tops in scoring was Kyle Filipowski with 17 points and 14 rebounds.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stick with Duke. This one could get interesting, though. The Blue Devils are on a nice 3-1 run against some tough teams right now, but two of those wins have come by a combined three points. Duke has a solid offense when they open things up; this one could be a lower-scoring battle, though. The Blue Devils have been at 68 or fewer points in three of the last four games. As for Virginia Tech, they’re struggling on a seven-game losing streak right now, however the Hokies have played some difficult teams in that stretch and they’ve remained competitive. I like this one to be decided late after a competitive first half, and I think Duke can pull off the cover (and maybe even win).
