Southeast Missouri State Redhawks
Southeast Missouri State managed a sketchy 15-16 run over the regular season. The Redhawks finished things out with consecutive losses to Lindenwood and SIU Edwardsville. SEMO would then beat Lindenwood, Tennessee State and Morehead State in the conference tourney.
Back on March 4 versus Tennessee Tech, Southeast Missouri State scored 35 points in the first half, 40 in the second and 14 in overtime to power out an 89-82 victory. Topping the team was Chris Harris with 26 points and six rebounds.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stick with Texas A&M-CC. The Islanders finished off the season on an impressive run, and they’ve gone 12-1 over their last 13 games (with a lone loss to Texas A&M-Commerce). Texas A&M-CC is also doing well offensively with 75 or more points in seven straight games. As for Southeast Missouri State, they get credit for an excellent conference tournament run. That said, the Redhawks have given up 80 or more points in five of their last seven outings. There should be plenty of scoring opportunities available for the Islanders in this one, and I think they’ll end up powering out the cover.
