Ty Gordon leads the Colonels in scoring with 20.2 PPG and 3 APG while Devante Carter has 11.7 PPG and a team-high 3.6 APG to lead Nicholls State in assists so far this season. Latrell Jones has 10.7 PPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for Nicholls and Manny Littles leads the Colonels in rebounding with 7.5 RPG as well this season. As a team, Northwestern State is averaging 73.8 PPG on 45% shooting from the field, 35,2% from three and 69% from the foul line while allowing 80.4 PPG on 46.4% shooting from the field and 34.2% from three this season.

I get the case to be made either way as a home dog is usually worth a look, but Nicholls has been the much better team for much of the season and I think that rings true here as well. No disrespect to Northwestern State, but we’re being asked to lay a reasonable number with the much better team so give me the Colonels laying the points here.
