The New Hampshire Wildcats and the Fordham Rams meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Rose Hill Gym. New Hampshire is 2-0 so far this season following a game two win over Fairfield. As for Fordham, they’re 1-1 on the year and coming off a loss to Arkansas. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

New Hampshire had a manageable opponent in their opener game versus Brandeis. The Wildcats were up 39-25 at halftime and kept it up in a 79-47 blowout win. Clarence O. Daniels (18 points; 10 boards) and Matthew Herasme (11 points; 12 rebounds) both doubled up.

In game two against Fairfield, the Wildcats kept it going with another win. New Hampshire was up 43-35 at the break and rolled on from there to an 83-71 result. Kyree Brown topped the team on 25 points and Nazim Derry added 17 more.

Over on the Fordham side, they kicked off their season versus Dartmouth. The Rams scored 43 points in the first half and 45 more from there in an 88-74 win. Darius Quisenberry led the way on 20 options and four rebounds for Fordham.

Fordham’s second game was a very tough matchup versus a great Arkansas team. The Rams limped to 21 points in the first half and were blown out 74-48. Quisenberry and Elijah Gray were the only team players in double-figures, each with 10 points.

PICK: I’m going to try New Hampshire here. All things considered however, this should be a pretty competitive game and a good matchup on paper. The Wildcats have scored pretty well in their first two games so far, averaging 81 points total with at least 39 points in all four halves so far. As for Fordham, they put up 88 points in the win over Dartmouth in their opener. We can pretty much toss out the Arkansas game as a lost cause, though. Overall I like this one to be a high-scoring, competitive affair.
