The Princeton Tigers and the Columbia Lions meet in college basketball action from the Levien Gymnasium on Saturday.

The Princeton Tigers will try to rebound from back-to-back losses after an 88-83 loss to Cornell last time out. Jaelin Llewellyn leads Princeton in scoring with 15.9 PPG while Ethan Wright has 14.5 PPG with a team-high 7.5 RPG and Tosan Evbuomwan has 14.9 PPG with 5.6 RPG and a team-high 5.1 APG to lead Princeton in assists. Ryan Langborg also has 11.5 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Princeton so far this season. As a team, Princeton is averaging 80.7 PPG on 48.8% shooting from the field, 37.8% from three and 66.4% from the foul line while allowing 71.8 PPG on 46.4% shooting from the field and 35.7% from three this season.

The Columbia Lions will be out to snap a five-game losing skid after an 81-66 loss to Penn last time out. Liam Murphy has 12.2 PPG with 4.6 RPG while Geronimo Rubio de la Rosa is right behind with 12.1 PPG along with a team-high 3.4 APG and Ike Nweke has 17.6 PPG and 7.1 RPG in eight games for the Lions this season. Patrick Harding also leads the Lions on the glass, pulling down 8.2 RPG up to this point in the season. As a team, Columbia is averaging 69.1 PPG on 43.9% shooting from the field, 37.3% from three and 62% from the foul line while allowing 78.5 PPG on 46.2% shooting from the field and 37.4% from three this season.

Princeton is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a losing record. Columbia is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a double-digit loss at home while the over is 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following an ATS loss.

I get the case to be made either way here, but I’m leaning the way of Princeton as more of a fade from Columbia personally more than anything. Columbia’s been getting their butts whooped regardless of where they’ve been playing and they’re just 3-7 SU at home this season. Princeton hasn’t been great at covering on the road, but they’re the far better team here and should have no issue winning by 15+.
