The VMI Keydets and the Chattanooga Mocs meet in college basketball action from the McKenzie Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The VMI Keydets will look to rebound from back-to-back losses after a 100-99 loss to Samford last time out. Jake Stephens leads the Keydets in scoring and rebounding with 19.8 PPG and 9.4 RPG while Kamdyn Curfman has 16.2 PPG with 2.5 APG and Trey Bonham has 12.4 PPG with a team-high 4.1 APG to lead VMI in assists while also capping off the trio of double-digit scorers for VMI up to this point in the year. Honor Huff has 9.5 PPG and Sean Conway has 8.5 PPG with 5.9 RPG this season. I get why the Mocs would be favored here as I’ve been a big fan of Chattanooga this season and have made a lot of money by backing them. However, sometimes you have to know when to jump off and while I do think Chattanooga wins this game, VMI has been solid on the road especially from a cover perspective and I think they can give the Mocs a run here.
