AR-Pine Bluff went 3-9 over their first 12 games, beating Champion Christian, Crowley’s Ridge and AR Baptist. The Lions are 4-2 since then with wins over Ecclesia, TX Southern, Prairie View and Florida A&M.
In the Rattlers matchup on Saturday, the Lions took a 32-26 lead into the second half. AR-Pine Bluff hit a 35-28 second-half run and took the win 67-54. Kylen Milton put up 20 points with five rebounds to lead the team.

Matched up against the Delta Devils on Saturday, the Wildcats were down 39-31 by halftime. Bethune-Cookman struck back on a 46-32 second-half run and won it 77-71. Joe French put up 31 points as the high team scorer.
PICK: I’ll probably stick with AR-Pine Bluff in this one. Also probably not going near it. We should have a pretty even matchup here and you could make a case either way. The Lions are on a three-game win streak, holding opponents to 66 or fewer points in all three of those outings. As for B-CU, they’ve scored 70 or more points in three straight games (a 1-2 run) but have also given up 71 or more in three straight. I like a high-scoring affair here with ARPB powering out the cover/win.
