Tramon Mark leads the Hogs in scoring with 16.7 PPG and 4.3 RPG while Khalif Battle has 14.3 PPG with 3.1 RPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Arkansas up to this point in the year. Trevon Brazile has 8.4 PPG with a team-high 5.8 RPG to lead the Hogs on the glass while Davonte Davis has 2.1 APG as well to lead Arkansas in assists up to this point in the year. As a team, Arkansas is averaging 77.7 PPG on 45.1% shooting from the field, 31.9% from three and 75% from the foul line this season.
Vanderbilt vs. Arkansas Prediction
I’m on Vanderbilt here. I get why Arkansas is favored, but Arkansas has been up there as one of the most disappointing teams in the country right there with USC when you look at what the team was expected to do coming into the season. I had Arkansas as a team that could make a run in the NCAA tournament at the start of the year, but now, they may be watching it from home unless they catch lightning in a bottle. Problem is, Vandy’s been a thorn in their side this season, winning both meetings outright and I’m not ready to lay points with Arkansas just because they want some revenge. I think Vandy’s live here. Give me Vanderbilt.
